The Serino Taíno was created by Anthony and Carson Serino in collaboration with master blender Omar González-Alemán as a tribute to the Taíno people, the indigenous inhabitants of the Caribbean who are widely credited as the first people to roll and smoke tobacco. Produced at La Corona Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua, the blend combines an Ecuadorian Habano Medio wrapper, an Estelí Corojo ’99 binder, and Nicaraguan fillers from Ometepe, Estelí, and Jalapa, featuring both Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos.

Medium-bodied and highly nuanced, the Taíno delivers a profile centered around cracked cedar, marzipan, white chocolate, orange peel, and gentle spice. The Corojo and Criollo tobaccos provide structure and complexity, while the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper adds sweetness and aromatic depth. Designed to be approachable for newer smokers yet layered enough for seasoned enthusiasts, the Taíno captures the balance, character, and heritage that define the Serino portfolio.
