The Principle Cigars Gold Band is part of Principle’s limited Gold Band project, a series created for exceptional blends that did not fit neatly into the brand’s Aviator Series. Handcrafted at the Kelner Boutique Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Gold Band is produced in a 6 x 50 Toro Especial format and built around an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, a Dominican Cotuí binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Principle describes the project as a home for small lots of world-class tobaccos, making Gold Band a cigar defined by scarcity, creativity, and boutique-level precision.

Medium-bodied and highly aromatic, the Gold Band delivers a refined profile of cedar, honey, chocolate, sweet natural tobacco, toasted nuts, and gentle spice. This surprised me

From first light it reminded me of Sugar Daddy candy. Malted chocolate, plum, smoked oak. This was incredibly unique, and I plan to stock up.
