The Principle Cigars Black Gold is the maduro expression of Principle’s limited Gold Band project, first launched in 2020 as a richer version of the Toro Especial. Handcrafted at the Kelner Boutique Factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic, it is produced in a 6 x 50 Toro format and features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Dominican Monte Plata binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Principle describes Black Gold as combining the elegance and complexity of the Gold Band project with the added richness of a carefully selected maduro wrapper.

Medium-to-full in character, Black Gold delivers a deeper, darker profile than the standard Gold Band while still preserving Principle’s refined, aromatic style.
