This stick hit me with a hook right at light up. The first few draws were earthy, woody, and very spicy. At first I thought ‘this is not what I expected” as it came off more like a double ligero than anything else, but about half an inch in, it settled way down. First third has the classic habano profile: earth, wood (cedar/oak for me), subtle sweetness, and black pepper that was very present but much less dominating than at light up. Second third brought some of the creamy texture but not a dominant trait. Final third was milder than the first third (still a medium body). Retros in the second and final third had the creamy smoke texture I was promised. I fought an uneven burn line, borderline canoe in the second and final third but nothing outrageous due to off center ligero. In any case, I’d say this is a solid choice for a habano, though not my first choice when LFD Solis and Warped Isla Del Cocodrillo present better value and comparable/better experience imo
